Home > News Shots > Sports newsAfter World Cup 2019, Team India all-rounder Hardik Pandya had taken rest from the cricket limelight. He recently underwent a lower back surgery in the United Kingdom (UK) and also shared his recovery journey on social media.
According to NDTV sports rpeort, Hardik left to UK for his back treatment. Seems like, he injured and irritated his back pain more during the three-match Twenty20 International (T20I) series against South Africa.
Hardik Pandya posted the video on Twitter and captioned it saying, "Baby steps .. but my road to full fitness begins here and now. Thank you to everyone for their support and wishes, it means a lot".
Hardik, who was not picked for the three-Test series against South Africans, will also not be seen in the Twenty20 International (T20I) series against Bangladesh which is all set to begin in November 3.
Meanwhile, Team India is all set to host South Africa for the second Test in Pune that begins on October 10.
While, the third and final Test will be played in Ranchi from October 19.
