Watch! Hardik Pandya Makes 37-Ball Century In DY Patil T20 Tournament, Fans Crazy Over Match-Winning Performance!
Home > News Shots > Sports newsIndia all-rounder Hardik Pandya made an amazing comeback after smashing a 37-ball century in a T20 tournament in Mumbai on Tuesday. He was playing his 2nd match after his recovery from his lower back surgery.
Pandya's match winning performance shocked fans after he made 8 fours and 10 sixes that helped his team Reliance 1 post a massive target of 253 runs in 20 overs.
Currently, the Indian all-rounder is playing for Reliance 1 against CAG in a Group C of the 16th DY Patil T20 Cup. Until, he stayed on the field, Hardik smashed eight fours and 10 towering sixes which surprised the crowd and fans on social media.
Post the match, happy Hardik told DY Patil Sports Academy in a video posted on their Facebook page stating that, "It's fantastic (platform) for someone like me. I have been away for almost six months. This is my second game after a long time. For me it is a good platform to see where I am currently and test my body. I am really happy with the way things have gone."
Before making his comeback performance, Hardik took to social media and shared picture of his transformation. He captioned the photo saying, "from 68 kgs to now 75 kgs in three months. Non-stop effort, no shortcuts."
Highlighting about Team India's next game and test, the Men in Blue will host South Africa for a three-match ODI series which will begin on March 12 in Dharamsala. Meanwhile, watch Hardik's much talked about video below:
