Days after scoring a splendid century, the all-rounder wreaked havoc at DY Patil stadium, when playing for Reliance 1 against Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL). He became the talk of the town with 20 sixes and 6 boundaries; Pandya scored 158 off 55 balls.
As Pandya got on to the field, it seemed there was no stopping him, which is also a good sign for Mumbai Indians (MI) and Team India in the upcoming series. During the match, Pandya did not allow the BPCL bowlers to take his wicket as he hit them to all parts and corners of the field.
By the end of the match, Pandya finished the game with an unbeaten 55-ball and 158 runs at a strike rate of 287.27. They (Reliance) proudly finished their innings at a score of 238/4 in their allotted quota of 20 overs.
