The Australian star got engaged to Vini Raman on March 14 in a traditional Indian ceremony.
Vini Raman, who is an Indian-origin girl based in Melbourne shared an image on Instagram with Maxwell. She caption the post saying, "Last night we celebrated our Indian engagement and I gave @gmaxi_32 a little teaser of what the wedding will be like? Shout out to both of our incredible families & all our friends who came to celebrate with us on such short notice - we are so grateful to be surrounded by some pretty amazing people ❤️ Can't wait to get our hands on more." In the viral photo, the couple can be seen wearing traditional Indian outfits.
Meanwhile in February, Maxwell shared a photo of himself with Vini Raman posing with the engagement ring. Both of them, have been dating for quite some time; they were also spotted at the Australian Cricket Awards in 2019.
Maxwell, was last seen in the Big Bash League 2019-20 where he helped his team Melbourne Stars to win. He will soon be seen in action for the upcoming IPL 2020; he will be playing for Kings XI Punjab. Check out Vini's post below:
