The 17-year-old midfielder from Belgium, Aster Vranckx will certainly never be proud of his greatest miss in the history of football. 

During a recent Belgian Pro League match between KV Mechelen and Oostende on September 12, Aster Vranckx produced one of the most embarrassing moment. 

As per the match, in the 67th minute of the game Vranckx's teammate tried to distract the goalkeeper with a smart chip shot but sadly the ball hit the crossbar. The ball then rebounded off the crossbar and got close to Vranckx, who was far from the goalkeeper and defenders.

The 17-year-old midfielder, alone in front of the open goal, tripped over the ball, then collided with the post in his second attempt before the defender got back. Vranckx, who was in shock fell to the ground with his hands on his face. 

The video of Vranckx's miss went viral on social media, while many called it the worst miss they had ever seen.

Talking about the game, Mechelen went on to lose the match 0-1 to KV Oostende. Watch the unmissable video here:
