Video: Fans Brutally Troll Pakistan Franchise After Sherfane Rutherford Wears Mumbai Indians’ Gloves For Playoffs

Just days after West Indies batsman Sherfane Rutherford was spotted wearing Mumbai Indians' (MI) jersey after landing from UAE to Pakistan; he was also recently spotted wearing MI gloves during the PSL 2020 Qualifier 1 match between Karachi Kings and Multan Sultans at the National Stadium.  

The West Indies cricketer was trolled for wearing the batting gloves of the Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise while playing for Pakistan Super Kings (PSL) 2020 game. 

Earlier in the week, Rutherford was trolled at an airport in Pakistan wearing the Mumbai Indians kit.

Rutherford, who did not feature in a single IPL 2020 match was still part of the Mumbai Indians team, who won the 13th edition of the league hosted by the United Arab Emirates (UAE). After arriving in Pakistan for the T20 league, Rutherford who was part of Karachi Kings, who opted to wear MI gloves during the recent match. 

Despite not performing well in the PSL 2020, Rutherford made headlines on social media with his gloves. After his video from the game went viral, fans were quick to notice and troll Karachi Kings and PSL after spotting Rutherford wearing MI gloves in the Qualifier 1.

Talking about the match, Rutherford could only manage to score 1 off 3 balls as South Africa spinner Imran Tahir was on fire during the game.
