BCCI Shares Photo Of TeamIndia, Important Member Missing; Fans Brutally Troll Board!
Home > News Shots > Sports newsIt was a grand day on January 12, as the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced its annual awards. This award was organised to celebrate the success of leading men and women cricketers that also involved match officials, state associations and former cricketers.
During the event, BCCI posted a photo on their official Twitter handle and captioned it saying, "#TeamIndia all smiles at #NAMAN". Soon after the photo went viral, fans noticed that the Indian captain Virat Kohli was missing from the photo.
Minutes after that, cricket fans left no stone unturned in trolling the BCCI. The man who stole the limelight, was none other than Jasprit Bumrah, who grabbed the prestigious Polly Umrigar award and the Dilip Sardesai honour for his exploits in international cricket in the 2018-19 season.
According to India Today reports, Polly Umrigar award is presented to the best male International cricketer and the award carries a citation, trophy and cheque for Rs. 15 lakh. While, Dilip Sardesai award is given on both the highest wicket-taker and highest run-getter in Test cricket.
