According to Cricket Addictor report, the tweet that Suryakumar liked was targeting Kohli and the selectors for the way Rohit Sharma’s selection for Australia tour came out.
Ever since, Rohit was not included in any of India’s three squads for the tour of Australia due to his hamstring injury, fans and other cricket experts were left surprised to see Rohit is action soon in the IPL and he later went on to lead Mumbai Indians to win the fifth IPL title.
Days after ruckus on social media, the selectors revised on the names for the Test squad. Rohit is currently in India as he is recovering from the injury while the rest of the team is in Australia preparing for the upcoming ODI and the T20I series.
Minutes after Suryakumar liked the controversial tweet, fans who did not like his attitude towards it slammed him on social media. Many said that the batsman won’t get a chance any time soon for Team India.
