Rohit Sharma In Trouble Again, Fans Furious Over His Diwali Message On Social Media

Fans were furious with him because on Diwali, he took to social media and posted a video with a message. Rohit asked fans not to burn firecrackers as dogs are scared due to firecrackers.
He quoted the video with a caption saying, “Happy Diwali to all my fellow Indians. Let’s hope this Diwali brings more light and shine to us. Let’s light up Diwali with diyas and keep these furry ones in mind before bursting any crackers. It was horrible to see them this scared.”
Within minutes, fans came out in large numbers lashing the cricketer. Many asked him to stop being a hypocrite while few shared his old post where he spoke about his love for burning firecrackers. So, it was totally, not a good day for him with all hitting out badly at the batsman.
Earlier this year was a good time for him because of his stunning performances on the field. He grabbed the stand-out batsman for the country at the World Cup in England.
Not just that, Rohit who recently debuted in Tests for the first time in his career made a good mark and score. He also completed the series as the highest run-scorer and earned the name as the Man of the Series award.
Rohit, is all set to lead team India in the upcoming T20I series against Bangladesh.
