Fan Calls KL Rahul ‘Thala’ on Twitter; KXIP Captain Reacts and Replies; Response Goes Viral!  

The Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) captain KL Rahul is one versatile batsman, who is doing his best for some match-winning performances in IPL 2020. He has arguably been the player of IPL 2020 so far. 

Despite KXIP standing 7th at the points table, there is no doubting KL Rahul's effort in the season in UAE. So far with 525 runs in just 9 matches at an average of over 75, Rahul is on top of the batting charts, owning the Orange Cap.   

After the nerve-wracking match double Super Over against defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI), KL Rahul was humble enough to shun down the comparison between him and MS Dhoni.

During the match with MI, Rahul made fans go crazy with his wicket keeping skills and with the bat in the Super Over thriller. Many even compared him with Dhoni's style of keeping wickets.

Amid the excitement, one delighted fan called the KXIP skipper as his 'Thala' on Twitter.  

Rahul was quick to react and reminded the fan that there is only one Thala in the gentlemen's game. "There is only one Thala Gajal and everyone knows who he is," Rahul responded on Twitter. 

As we all know that, Thala is a nickname given to CSK skipper Dhoni by the fans of the Chennai franchise.
