It's not Sachin; But, this Indian Cricketer chosen as Greatest Test batsman via Poll - Exciting Results!

Rahul Dravid has been chosen as the greatest Indian Test batsman, as per a poll which was conducted by Wisden Indian. He was in tight competition with Sachin Tendulkar. However, he won by a narrow margin.

“Much like Dravid batted during his playing career, he dug in and fought back in the poll, eventually crossing the line with a decent lead at the very end,” said the Wisden India report.

Dravid got 52% votes with as many as 11,400 fans, while Tendulkar stood with 48% votes.

The poll initially had around 16 Indian batsmen. From the sixteen, Tendulkar, Virat Kholi, Dravid and Sunil Gavaskar made it to the ‘semi finals’. Gavaskar beat Kholi and stood in the third place by a narrow margin.
