MS Dhoni To Choose New Profession In Bollywood After Ending His Cricket Career
Home > News Shots > Sports newsFormer Indian captain, MS Dhoni, who took a two-month break from cricket after the World Cup 2019, is currently out of action due to a self-imposed sabbatical.
During the two long moths of break, Dhoni also spent 15 days serving the Indian Army in Kashmir.
After reports were certain that, Dhoni is likely to be ignored for the upcoming Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is) against South Africa. Keeping that in mind, Thala Dhoni is all set to make alternate plans for his career as Bollywood seems to be the destination.
As per Crictracker report, rumors suggest that Dhoni may join hands with friend and Bollywood actor John Abraham for his first project and become a film producer. There is no official confirmation on it yet.
Meanwhile, Deccan Chronicle reports that a close source was quoted as saying, “Films have always interested in Dhoni. He is a huge movie buff. When Neeraj Pandey made the biopic on the superstar-cricketer, he got a chance to observe the entertainment industry up close, and he loved it. He was waiting for an opportune time to take the plunge."
"Dhoni has already zeroed in some projects which he thinks can do wonders and he wishes to produce them in collaboration with media houses in the film industry," the source added.
Currently, nothing has been made official from the man himself.
