The 18th match of ICC World Cup 2019 between India and New Zealand was abandoned even without toss due to rain at Nottingham on Thursday.

One point was awarded to both the teams. India has won two matches and New Zealand has won three matches in total. Fans were all disappointed to see the match cancelled due to rain.

Along with the rains, memes started to pour in. However, fans in the stadium waited for hours in hope before the match was cancelled.

But the disappointed fans had another surprise waiting for them. Dhoni, who wasn't seen outside during the rain, came out to greet the fans. He was seen waving at fans and fans screamed his name in joy.

His appearance was a much needed surprise for the otherwise disappointed fans.
