Dawyne Bravo Opines on Dhoni's T20 World Cup Participation!
Home > News Shots > Sports newsAmid speculations on MS Dhoni's participation in the T20 World Cup in Australia next year, West Indies all-rounder Dwayne Bravo has no doubt that the former Indian captain will play.
“Dhoni has never retired. So, I think he will be there at the World T20. MS has never let things outside cricket influence him and he has taught us the same and told us to never panic and trust our abilities," Bravo said.
On the personal front, Bravo has taken a U-turn on his international retirement by saying that he will be available for T20 selection. Bravo had played his last T20I against Pakistan in September 2016 and announced his retirement in 2018.
"Today I confirm the announcement of my decision to return to International Cricket to all my fans and well-wishers all around the world. It's no secret that this big announcement has come as a result of the changes made at the administration level," Bravo stated in a press release.
The 36-year-old is hopeful about rebuilding the West Indies T20I team. He thanked his fans and supporters for their constant support.
