After Losing Series, David Warner Shares Message for SRH Teammate T Natarajan
Home > News Shots > Sports newsAfter T Natarajan showcased his impressive show in the ODI and T20I series against Australia, batsman David Warner lauded his Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) teammate. He also said that despite the Australian cricket team losing the T20I series 1-2 to India, he was impressed by the performance of a fast bowler from the Indian team.
With Jasprit Bumrah and all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja being out with a concussion, Team India had no other but T Natarajan, who stole the show.
After making heads turn in the IPL, the left-arm player was added to India’s T20I squad for the tour of Australia. In three matches, Natarajan picked up six wickets and produced economical spells.
Post the match, Warner, who earlier captained Natarajan in IPL 2020, could not stop himself from lauding the young bowler.
“Win lose or draw we respect each other on and off the field. Despite losing the series I couldn’t not be any happier for this guy @natarajan_jayaprakash such a nice guy and just loves the game so much. From being on the tour as a net bowler to debuting ODI/T20I for India what an achievement buddy well done!!,” Warner tweeted.
Looking into the chart of T20Is, Natarajan claimed 3/20, 2/20 and 1/33 in three matches. If Hardik Pandya made Team India win the series even Natarajan became the man who made headlines with his style on the field.
