CSK reacts to IPL 2020 Postponement in Vijay Style!
Home > News Shots > Sports newsThe Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Friday postponed the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) from March 29 to April 15 in the wake of Coronavirus threat.
Reacting to the move, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) shared a picture featuring skipper MS Dhoni and Jagadeesan on Twitter with the caption, "Smart move nanba. # WhistlePodu for April 15. Stay Safe."
Meanwhile, India has recorded 81 positive cases of the Coronavirus so far. Several state governments have declared holidays for schools and instructed public to avoid gathering in large.
On the game front, Chennai Super Kings will be taking on defending champions Mumbai Indians in the opening game of the tournament. The match will also mark MS Dhoni's return to competitive cricket after a long gap.
