With CSK winning only three games after 10 matches so far and are placed at the eight position on the points table, the Yellow Army today suffered another massive blow as CSK all-rounder Dwayne Bravo being ruled out of IPL 2020.

Cricket and CSK fans are shocked to know that Bravo has been ruled out of the remaining IPL 2020 with a groin injury.

The 37-year-old CSK star is a vital cog of the Super Kings for years now.

He was badly missed in his last over against Delhi Capitals (DC) in Sharjah last week. After which Dhoni had to bring in Ravindra Jadeja, who conceded three sixes while defending 16 in the final over of the match.

“No, Bravo isn’t playing any more part this time round and the groin injury has ruled him out. He will be flying back in a day or two,” CSK CEO Kasi Viswanathan told ANI. However, CSK are unlikely to opt for any replacement for Bravo.

So far in IPL 2020, Bravo played only six games where he scored only seven runs in two innings and got six wickets in as many games with an economy rate of 8.57.

During the initial matches, Bravo was missed out as he returned to the squad late but the injury marred his time in the ongoing season. Already, the Yellow Army is missing its veteran players namely Suresh Raina and Harbhajan Singh, both who pulled out of the tournament citing personal reasons.
