'Thala' vazhi Thani vazhi: CSK CEO about MS Dhoni's future!
Home > News Shots > Sports newsOne of the most popular contemporary cricketers, MS Dhoni turned 39 on Tuesday and both the CSK team as well as fans left no stone unturned to find unique ways to wish him on social media. The current CEO of Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Kasi Viswanathan too spoke about the cricketer in the Tamil show “Dhoni Vazhi Thani Vazhi” hosted by Star Sports 1, where he stated that he wouldn’t be surprised if the cricketer becomes the “Team Boss” in the next 10 years.
"In 10 years from now, my feeling is that he will be a permanent fixture in Chennai as the Chennai Super Kings boss," Viswanathan mentioned.
His statement reportedly holds special significance since he is considered to be close to former BCCI president N Srinivasan and it also indicated that Dhoni might become a part of the management in the coming years.
In the same show he also explained how Dhoni became Chennai- based fans’ “Thala”.
"Only one thing I knew that he's able to get the best out of the team by himself. He's able to get the best out of any member of the team. That's why we'd call him Thala," Viswanathan said.
