Rejected by Indian Army, Tamil Nadu student in Ukraine joins Forces to take on Russian invasion

Russians have been attacking Ukraine for more than 13 days now.
More than thousands of soldiers from both the countries are reported to be dead.

With each passing day, the intensity of the war increases. Russia is rapidly infiltrating and capturing several major cities in Ukraine. The Ukrainian government has said that thousands of innocent civilians have been killed in bombings. Although the two countries have held a few rounds of talk, Russia has not given up on war.
Indian students
The Indian government is rescuing Indians studying in Ukraine and have evacuated major Indian population via special flights. Now, a student from Coimbatore, Sainikesh, who is pursuing his engineering course there is going viral as he has joined Ukraine's armed forces.

Coimbatore Student
Sainikesh Ravichandran, a native of Coimbatore, joined the National Aerospace University in Kharkiv in 2019. He is currently a member of Ukraine's paramilitary forces and is being investigated by Indian intelligence agencies.
Option to join the Army
Sainikesh is said to have had the desire to join the army from an early age. It has been reported that he had applied to the Indian Army for this but was rejected due to his height. As a result, the war in Ukraine has left Sainikesh with the opportunity to join the forces there.
Continuing investigation
Intelligence officials investigating Sainikesh had gone to his house in Coimbatore's Thudiyalur area. Sainikesh, who is in touch with his parents, said he did not want to come back when asked to return to his hometown. Central intelligence officials are continuing to investigate.
Sainikesh, a student from Coimbatore, joins the Ukrainian paramilitary forces as other Indian students return to their hometowns.
