For the past few days fans have been missing Chennai Super Kings (CSK) player Suresh Raina from the team. While many have been demanding his return to the Yellow Army, CSK has removed Suresh Raina's name from their official website.

This confirms that CSK's vice-captain Raina won't be part of IPL 2020 tournament. Even before the IPL could start, Raina shocked the cricket fraternity after he pulled out of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 due to personal reasons. But fans still expected his return later in the season; however it is now confirmed that he won't make a comeback as CSK has removed his name from their official website.

Not just Raina, even Harbhajan Singh's name does not feature in the 'team's section' on the official website. Harbhajan had earlier confirmed to miss the league, while Raina was expected to land in UAE at some point in the tournament.

Earlier in the week, CSK's CEO Kasi Viswanathan told ANI that the team has moved on from Raina. "We cannot look at (Suresh) Raina because he made himself unavailable, and we respect his decision and his space. We are not thinking about it," he said.

"I can assure the fans that we will bounce back strongly. It's a game and you have your good and bad days. But the boys know what they need to do and the smiles will be back," he added.

In total, the absence of two senior players has hit CSK hard this IPL, with just one win from three matches, the Yellow Army currently sits at the sixth spot in the points table. They will lock horns next with Sunrisers Hyderabad on Friday (October 2).
