Chennai Super Kings Training Suspended from March 14!
Home > News Shots > Sports newsChennai Super Kings' training session ahead of the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) will stand suspended from March 14 in wake of the novel coronavirus pandemic.
“Chennai Super Kings practice sessions at M A Chidambaram stadium stands suspended from March 14, considering the present COVID-19 situation,” Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA) secretary R S Ramasaamy said in a press release.
This comes after the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) postponed the tournament from March 29 to April 15 on Friday.
Skipper MS Dhoni along with Suresh Raina and Ambati Rayudu was training at MA Chidambaram Stadium since March 2. Other players who took part in the team's net seesions were Murali Viay, Harbhajan Singh, Kedhar Jadhav, Piyush Chawla, Karn Sharma, KM Asif, R Sai Kishore and Jagadeesan.
