The 12th edition of the Indian Premier League is soon about to take place. According to initial reports, the series will commence on March 23 and will be held in India.

This will be Chennai Super Kings' second IPL series following a two-year ban after getting caught in a match-fixing case. CSK debuted last year and won the trophy. High expectations are at stake over CSK's performance this year.

Amidst the soaring expectations, CSK international player Imran Tahir tweeted out to CSK fans in Tamil. Tahir wrote, "Yen iniya tamil makkaley nalam nalamariya aaval.Namadu singara chennayil ipl pottigal thuvangum natkalai yenni kathukondirukkiren.Neengal aataikku ready a Nangal vetaikku ready @ChennaiIPL #eduda vandiya poduda whistle (My dear Tamil people, I am fine and I am eager to know of your wellbeing. I am waiting for the days when IPL will begin in our beautiful Chennai. If you are ready for the game, we are ready for the hunt. Start the vehicle, blow the whistle.)"
