Verithanam: 'Bigil' Football Tournament Officially Announced; Registrations Open!

Today we reported on a trending video of a woman playing football and imitating styles of popular football players. Considering the current football buzz, we called it 'One Lady, Various Bigil Moments'.

Now, we have yet another exciting news for football players in Tamil Nadu. AGS production who bankroll the biggie Bigil has partnered with Chennai City Football Club to organize Football Knockout Tournament in Velachery, Chennai.

The news was posted by Chennai City FC along with the details of the football tournament.

"We are celebrating the game - Football in association with @Ags_production and #Thalapathy's magnum opus #Bigil, through this tournament for all the #Verithanam-aana footballers in the city! Aishwarya Kalpathi shared the tweet with the caption, "Come celebrate the game with us! @agscinemas@Ags_production@archanakalpathi @ChennaiCityFC". (sic).

The tournament comprises of 64 teams and is scheduled on October 19th and 20th from 10 am to 4 pm on both the days at TIKI-TAKA Velachery.  It looks like the Bigil team has planned to leave no stones unturned until the release of the film for this festive season. Bigil is one of the most anticipated films of this year and is expected to have a grand 2019 Diwali release.
