"They did not Treat MS Dhoni Well!” - Popular Cricketer Slams BCCI
Home > News Shots > Sports news MS Dhoni announced his retirement from international cricket via a post on his Instagram. The former Indian captain’s decision has been a shock for cricket fans as he has not played competitive international cricket for a year now.
However, MSD’s retirement has not resonated well with his fans from across the globe. His fans demand a farewell match for Dhoni who is known as one of the greatest captains in the history of cricket in India.
Voicing for the same, Pakistan Spinner Saqlain Mushtaq released a video on his official YouTube channel. He mentioned that the BCCI has not treated the Indian skipper well and also demanded that they give him an organised farewell.
“I always say positive things and try not to spread negativity in any way but I think I should say this. This is kind of a defeat of BCCI. They did not treat a big player like him in the right way. The retirement shouldn’t have happened like this. This is coming straight from my heart and I believe millions of his fans feel the same way. I’m really sorry to BCCI that I’m saying this but they didn’t treat Dhoni well, I’m hurt,” Mushtaq said in his YouTube channel’s video.
“Glad that he will play in IPL. But his international retirement should have been different. Every cricketer has some dreams, I had that too but because of my injury that didn’t materialize but I believe every cricketer wants to exit the game on a high as he had entered it. I’m sure Dhoni must have had this dream,” Mushtaq added.
Shortly following MS Dhoni’s footsteps, Raina announced his retirement from international cricket as well.
