TNPL is going on in Tamil Nadu and the players are doing a great job. Though there is no Washington Sundar or Vijay Shankar, Ashwin and Dinesh Karthik are filling the space.

During the match between Dindigul Dragons vs Karaikudi Kaalai, Ashwin bowled a slow one and took Dinesh Karthik's wicket. Seeing these two players play together itself is a great deal and seeing one take the wicket of another was a treat.

One user, somehow commented that “Badrinath in the list is a surprise” to which Ashwin replied cheekily “really?? I request you to check Badri’a first class record.”

Badri was called run machine with IPL strike rate of 118.89. During 2011 IPL, he was called Mr Dependable and reliable for CSK. He was also named in the Cricinfo IPL XI for it.
