Anil Kumble Wins Hearts With A Warm Response To A Fan On The Same Flight

Former Indian spinner Anil Kumble is legendary among the cricket club. He has carved out a special status for himself with his incredible bowling spells. While Kumble might not be a regular posting person on social media, whenever he does come up, he manages to grab eyeballs.

Kumble's response to a fan has won hearts on social media. The fan had tweeted to Anil Kumble, saying she was on the same flight. "The legendary Anil Kumble in my BLR-MUM flight. Glanced at him once and was reminded of that game in West Indies where he bowled with a bandaged jaw. Teared up a bit. Gawwddd, I'm such a sucker for cricket memories", she posted in her first tweet.

She further posted that she wanted to go and say hi to him, but was too afraid to do so. "I want to go up to @anilkumble1074 and say a 'Thank You' for all the joy, all the victories, all the memories. But, I am getting cold feet," she added.

Little did she know that the man himself would reply. Acknowledging the woman, Kumble replied to her tweet saying, "Please feel free to come over and say hi after takeoff @Mittermaniac".

The fan met Kumble and also posted the image of her autographed boarding pass. "Will have to get a boarding pass framed now. Thank you, @anilkumble1074. Someday I want to learn humility from you", she wrote.
