7-year-old Ahmad Abbas keeps bowling leg spinners in his hometown of Kashmir. However, little did he know that one such clip would grab the attention of Australian spin legend Shane Warne.

Earlier this year, Ahmad trundled up and bowled a googly which pitched and snaked back in to smash the stumps of the batsman at the other end. He was mobbed by his teammates as the young man broke into wild celebrations.

A video of the entire scene was captured and put up on Twitter by Jammu and Kashmir-based journalist Mufti Islah. Islah also tagged Shane Warne, terming it the 'ball of the century'.

Such was the skill of the young man that this particular ball became the cynosure of all eyes and social media was drooling over the delivery. It caught the attention of Shane Warne, who was impressed by the young man.

After Warne’s Twitter praise for Ahmad, the young boy became a topic of discussion during Fox Cricket’s lunch break broadcast on day two of the first Test between India and Australia.
