Phil Hughes batted impressively against the world class bowling. He faced Starc, Bollinger, Shane Watson. He was 63 not out and on strike when Sean Abbott came to bowl.
A bouncer was what a bowler would bowl at the point. It was common for bowlers to hit batsmen with the ball and it was seen as a sign of intimidation. However, it changed as the 25-year-old crumbled down as the bouncer hit him just below his ear.
After battling for his life, he passed away leaving the cricket fraternity shaken.
6 years after his sad demise, Australia remembers Phillip Hughes, forever 63 not out. #408.
