Days Before IPL 2020 Auctions, Names Of 6 ‘Top Draw’ Cricketers Released!

Just days before IPL 2020 auctions, the Indian Premiere League (IPL) released names of six ‘top draw’ cricketers. 

December 19 is a big day for all eight franchises – Mumbai Indians (MI), Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Rajasthan Royals (RR), Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), Sunrisers Hyderabad (SH), Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) and Delhi Capitals (DC) as they will fill the gaps in the IPL 2020 auctions. 

According to Hindustan Times report, IPL has chosen four overseas cricketers- Chris Lynn, Dale Steyn, Sam Curran, Kesrick Williams and two Indian cricketers identified as Yusuf Pathan and Piyush Chawla is on the ‘top draws’ list.

All these six cricketers were released by their franchises earlier this year. Explaining about the two famous Indian cricketers in the top draw -Yusuf Pathan was released by Sunrisers Hyderabad while Piyush Chawla released by Kolkata Knight Riders.

Reports also suggest that, these players have kept their base price at INR 1 crore each. Not just that, as many as 332 cricketers will go under the auction list.
