Later a new hashtag "NoSir" trended nationwide. Many Modi supporters requested him not to give up his social media accounts using the hashtag.
Today Modi took to his Twitter space and shared an inspiring opportunity for all the women.
"This Women's Day, I will give away my social media accounts to women whose life & work inspire us. This will help them ignite motivation in millions. Are you such a woman or do you know such inspiring women? Share such stories using #SheInspiresUs," (sic) tweeted Modi
Women's Day 2020 will be celebrated on March 8 (Sunday).
