Video viral! Pakistani artists sing peace anthem, receive praises from India
Home > News Shots > Inspiring newsThough the tension between India and Pakistan is always high, the citizens of the countries now and then share love for one another beyond the wall.
In one such case, veteran actresses from Pakistan, Bushra Ansari along with Asma Abbas and Neelum Ahmad Bashir sisters, have created a peace rap number urging cross-border peace.
They have composed a track "Humsaye maa jaye," a song that talks about unnecessary divisions between the countries. Neelum has written the track while the other two artists have performed it.
The video shows a Pakistani woman and an Indian woman, who are kept away by not just a wall but also the animosity between them. The lyrics beautifully states the similarities and the neighbourly relations the people of the countries want but the politics and war not letting it happen. You can watch the video here.
