Karishma Mehrotra shares her experience with a Uber car driver. On May 15, she booked a car through the Uber app. Karishma Mehrotra texted the driver of the car involved in the booking and asked, "Will you definitely come and pick me up?"
The Uber driver replied, ‘I will definitely come. I am eating Parotta now. There is still half left. I will definitely come and pick it up after eating. ' Karisma Mahrotra posted a screenshot of the conversation on her Twitter page praising the driver's honesty.
Customers have recently leveled some allegations against OLA and Uber. Complaints continued that the companies' cancellation policy was creating an environment for customers to unnecessarily pay penalties.
Following this, Consumer Affairs Secretary Rohit Kumar Singh had advised the two companies to rectify the grievances related to the complaint. In this context, the honest behavior of an Uber driver to a female customer is well received.
