Earlier, Netflix had recently announced a reduction in their monthly subscription plans for the benefit of users. The monthly subscription for mobile-only viewing has been reduced from Rs 199 to Rs 149. Similarly, Netflix had made drastic price changes for viewing on TVs, computers, and laptops.

Meanwhile, it has been reported that the company is going to implement a new program for Netflix users. Generally, users use their Netflix account to watch movies, and share their IDs and passwords with their friends.

Lately, the practice of having a single Netflix account like this and using it without payment is said to have increased. As a result, Netflix is reportedly planning to charge soon extra fee for sharing passwords.

Netflix has decided to charge extra for sharing the password of a Netflix account. It has been reported that a higher fee of 150 to 250 rupees per month will be charged for this.
An announcement is expected to be made soon.
