Police in West Bengal have arrested a man for trying to print fake currency notes and put them into circulation. It's been talked about all over the place.

Suspicion by the shopkeeper

A man came to a toy store in Shyam, West Bengal yesterday. He checked the toys in the store and selected some of them. The person then talks to the store owner about the quality and price of the toys he has selected. After that, the person who said that he would buy the toys, took 500 rupees from his pocket and gave it to the shopkeeper.

Shock

The shopkeeper who received the 500 rupee note from the person became suspicious of the note. The shopkeeper examined the note in good light and found that it was a counterfeit note. Thus, he informed the police. Following this, the Bishnupur area police officers rushed to the shop.

Inquiry

Following this, the police interrogated him until he came to buy the toy and it was revealed that he was Gurupada Azharjee from Bankura district in West Bengal. The police rushed to the area where the 59 -year -old was located in the house of Asarjee.

At the time, police found a printer and 1,65,560 rupees in counterfeit notes and other equipment hidden inside Azarjee's house.

Case Record

Police have registered a case against Azharjee for printing a counterfeit rupee note and attempting to circulate it. Police are investigating whether anyone else was involved in the plot.
