A balloon-seller from Kerala became an overnight sensation

The impact of social media is currently huge. Social media is a place where the hidden talents of ordinary people take a sudden turn and go viral and become an overnight sensation.

Recently, a photoshoot of a folk girl from Kerala went viral in which she underwent a great makeover and transformed into a beautiful young teen.

A young woman had been selling balloons at crowded place in Kerala. Her picture was clicked by a photographer Arjun Krishnan at the Kannur Andallurkavu festival. When he showed the picture to the girl and her mother, they were happy.

How it all started?

The woman, Kisbu, is from Rajasthan. She has been selling balloons in Kerala. When Arjun shared his photo on his social media pages, the response was overwhelming. His friend, Shreyas also photographed Kisbu.

After the overwhelming response, someone got in touch with Kisbu’s family for a makeover photoshoot for her. And, with the help of a stylist named Remya, it became a reality.

Kisbu also got a traditional makeover in which she wore a beautiful Kasavu saree with a red blouse. Going by these photos, she looked like a real Malayalee girl. These 'makeover' pictures of the balloon-seller are going viral on the internet.

This incident which turned Kisbu's life around, is a great example of what can happen with a single photo.
