A businessman from the Malad area of Mumbai was searching for a girl for his 28-year-old son. But he could not get a girl because his son was disabled. It was in this context that Asha (age 28), who came through a broker named Kamlesh, agreed to marry the son of a businessman.

At that time, Asha said that she was helpless and that she only had an aunt named Manisha. The businessman who believed in this has married off his son to Asha. After the marriage, he paid one and a half lakh rupees to a woman entrepreneur who claimed to be Asha's aunt. Also, broker Kamlesh got a commission of Rs 10,000.

At this point on the 3rd day of the wedding, Asha went out saying that she was going to the market wearing all the jewelery she had at home. But she did not return home for a long time. The businessman contacted Asha.

She later had given shocking information that she was already married and had 2 children and had agreed to this marriage for money. The businessman immediately lodged a complaint at the Malad police station. According to the complaint, Asha, Manisha and broker Kamlesh had swindled Rs 4 lakh worth of jewelery and cash. Police have registered a case and are searching the web for the fraudulent gang.
