3-Year-Old Girl Critically Injured After Youth Bursts Cracker Inside Her Mouth

In a shocking tale being reported after Diwali celebrations, a three-year-old girl from Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, was critically injured when a mischievous youth put a firecracker in her mouth and lit it, police said. The girl was rushed to a nearby medical facility where her condition is said to be critical.

The police have lodged an FIR against the youth and have launched a search to nab him.

Shashi Kumar, the girl's father, in his complaint has named local youth Harpal, who went to his daughter who was playing outside their house and stuffed a bomb in her mouth and lit the fuse. The bomb exploded in the girl's mouth, causing serious damage.

The girl has received 50 stitches and her throat has also been infected, further complicating her health condition.
