Kerala - Young filmmaker found dead at home

According to reports, a young Malayalam filmmaker was found dead in her house in Thiruvananthapuram on Monday. The exact cause of death is yet to be ascertained.

Nayana Sooryan has reportedly assisted many prominent directors. Sooryan's phone was left unanswered several times after which her family members and friends found her body in her bedroom. Sooryan was reportedly undergoing treatment for diabetes for some time.

Sooryan reportedly marked her space as an independent filmmaker through Crossword, a 2017 anthology. She has also directed many advertisements and stage shows.
