Reacting to the ongoing tension between India and Pakistan, US President Donald Trump today said that there is "reasonably decent news from India and Pakistan".

Trump's comments came during a press conference in Hanoi, on the sidelines of his meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. Trump stated, "I think reasonably attractive news from Pakistan and India, they have been going at it and we have been involved and have them stop, we have some reasonably decent news, hopefully, it's going to be coming to an end, this has been going on for a long time, decades and decades."

On February 14, 40 CRPF jawans were killed due to a suicide bombing by Jaish-e-Mohammed in Pulwama. Days after the deadly attack, India retaliated by sending fighter jets to the biggest training camp of Jaish in Balakot. Since the incidents, there has been a rise in tension between the two countries.
