Double Murder: Police Cracks Case After 2 Decomposed Bodies Found In Water Tank - Report! 

In a shocking case, two decomposed bodies of employees of a renowned bar at Mira Road in Maharashtra's Thane district have been recovered. 

In just two days, the Maharashtra police have claimed to crack the case of double murder. They have arrested a 35-year-old waiter from Pune in this matter. The accused has been identified as Kallu Yadav, who was arrested on Friday (June 5). 

The bodies of the deceased have been identified as Harish Shetty (42) and Naresh Pandit (53) from the water tank of Sabari restaurant-cum-bar. 

Further revealing details into the matter, the police said that Shetty worked as a manager at the restaurant, while Pandit was a cleaner and the accused worked as a waiter. The man had allegedly committed the crime on May 30 and the crime was a fallout of a dispute between the accused and the victims over food.

"Several injury marks were found on the bodies of the victims. During the probe the police came to know that Yadav has started working at a restaurant in Pune after committing the crime," a police official said.

On immediate action, a team of police rushed to Pune and arrested Yadav from Parvati area on Friday.

Meanwhile, inspector Venkat Andhale of the crime branch of Thane rural police stated that, "during interrogation, Yadav admitted that he had murdered the duo. He said the manager used to get delicious food for himself, but offered a bland meal to him. He said he was annoyed over it and decided to eliminate Shetty and  Pandit. Accordingly, he attacked them with a spade while they were asleep. He then dragged their bodies and dumped them into a water tank at the restaurant".

Revealing more about the accused, the police said that as per preliminary investigation, the accused was also involved in a case murder at Kolkata in 2013 and had also been in jail.
