Pregnant woman murdered after objecting to co-passenger smoking on train
Home > India newsIn a shocking incident in Uttar Pradesh, a pregnant woman was strangled to death for objecting to a co-passenger smoking on the train.
Chinat Devi, 45, was travelling with her family on the Punjab-Bihar Jallianwala Express on Friday night. She reportedly objected to a co-passenger, identified as Sonu Yadav, smoking. An argument ensued between them following which Yadav attacked the woman and strangled her to death.
The woman was rushed to a hospital where she was declared brought dead. The accused was arrested and Chinat Devi's body has been sent for a post-mortem.
