Politician's son found dead; Turns out he was killed by his mother

On Sunday, Uttar Pradesh lawmaker Ramesh Yadav's son, Abhijit Yadav was found dead at his father's flat. Though it was thought that the man died of cardiac arrest, during the investigation it was found that Abhijit was murdered and that too by his own mother.

Earlier, Abhijit's mother, Meera Yadav claimed that her 23-year-old son had come home drunk on late Saturday. He was allegedly not feeling comfortable and even complained of pain in his left arm. According to Meera, Abhijit was found dead the next day.

However, some family friends suggested foul play and the police conducted a post-mortem. It was confirmed that Abhijit was strangulated to death. Meera was suspected as her account was not consistent during interrogations.

She later confessed that she murdered her son. Meera strangled her son after he came home drunk and misbehaved with her.
