Just days after more than 150 students of the Uttar Pradesh University of Medical Sciences in Sefai were made to tonsure their heads and parade on the campus in an alleged case of ragging; there is another renowned college that has made headlines today.

This shocking incident comes from a technical university in Odisha's Sambalpur city after videos of students being ragged by their senior went viral on social media.

According to Times Now report, the videos were shot at the Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT). It is a technical varsity funded by the Odisha state government.

In the first video that has gone viral, show first and second-year students dancing on a stage within the campus while few of them can be seen gathered around wearing nothing other than their undergarments.

Meanwhile, in the second video-more than 50 students were seen being ragged by seniors in a hostel of VSSUT. The videos showed the seniors tearing off shirts of junior students and forcing them to dance by holding their ears.

Hours after this incident went viral, Premanand Nayak, the state's Skill Development and Technical Education Minister had ordered an inquiry into the matter stating that action will be taken on the basis of the report.

As a result, the varsity has debarred 10 students from appearing in examinations for a whole year. While, 52 other students have been fined ₹2,000 each for their involvement in the ragging of juniors, Times Now further reported.

This is not the first time VSSUT has landed in a controversy over instances of ragging.
