UGC Announces College Reopening Dates for Old Students and Freshers; Exams and other Details Listed!
Home > News Shots > India newsThe University Grants Commission has announced that colleges and universities will open in September for freshers and August for regulars.
It also further said that interim, students will be graded based on marks secured in previous exams in places where the Covid19 situation is worse, otherwise, examinations will be held in July.
A Covid19 cell will be also constituted in universities in July to deal with the situation. Extension of six months to be granted to MPhil and PhD students, viva-voce to be conducted via video conferencing. Universities will follow a six-day week pattern.
This has also led to speculation that the full lockdown might end sometime by July end only.
