Two Major Fire Accidents in Delhi in last 24 Hours - Details!
Home > News Shots > India newsTwo fire accidents were reported in Delhi on Tuesday. A Massive fire broke out in Tughlakabad neighbourhood in the early hours of Tuesday. Reportedly, around 1000-2000 shanties caught fire in the slum area.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), South East, Rajendra Prasad Meena told ANI: “We received information about a fire at around 1 am at slums in Tughlakabad. All police staff reached here immediately. It is being said that around 1,000-1,200 shanties caught fire."
According to the DCP, no casualty or injury has been reported. As per Hindustan Times’ report, a total of 28 fire tenders were rushed to the site and the blaze was brought under control.
A similar incident was reported in Keshavpuram, in a footwear manufacturing factory in North- west Delhi. Fifteen fire engines immediately reached the spot after the fire broke out.
