Most of us would have heard of two-headed snake but the majority of us have never seen one in real life. For us, it is mostly a myth, much like unicorns and mermaids.

However, villagers in West Bengal busted the myth after they took pictures of the snake they have seen.

A double-faced snake was found in Ekarukhi village of West Bengal, tweeted ANI along with a few images of the snake on Twitter. The pictures show the snake drinking milk from a plate.

The snake was spotted by villagers on their way to Jagal. The villagers refused to hand over the snake to the forest department due to mythological beliefs, reports Inshorts. However, later the forest officers rescued the snake reports Mangalore Today.
