TN BJP President Tamilisai Soundararajan Appointed as Telangana Governor!

Bharatiya Janata Party’s Tamil Nadu President Tamilisai Soundararajan has been appointed as the Governer of Telangana state. Sources also say that she might soon be relieved from her current position in Tamil Nadu BJP.

Speaking to media, Soundararajan expressed her happiness towards the development. “This is the result of years of hard work.”

ESL Narasimhan, who assumed office on 2 June 2014, is the present Governer of Telangana. Succeeding him would make Soundararajan the first woman Governer to be appointed from Tamil Nadu.

Soundararajan was appointed as Tamil Nadu BJP’s president in 2014, She also contested the 2019 Lok Sabha elections from Thoothukudi opposing Kanimozhi from Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK).
