Tirupathi's Sacred Laddu in Chennai and other Southern Metros! - Details
Home > News Shots > India newsDespite the nation-wide lockdown, the devotees of Lord Venkateshwara are to receive the Tirupati Laddu at their respective areas of residence.
The sacred ‘laddu prasadam’ will be made available in Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and in all district headquarters in Andhra Pradesh, at a subsidised price, said Tirupati Tirumala Devasthanam (TTD) functionary. The TTD’s Board Chairman Subba Reddy said that this is being facilitated since many devotees have been repeatedly requesting for the same, after being barred from visiting the shrine from March 20.
These laddus which are originally sold at a price of Rs.50 will now be sold at a subsidised price of Rs.25. This was referred to as a token of gift for the devotees during this difficult period, by Reddy.
The date and places at which the ‘prasadam’ will be made available will be announced soon. Further, those who wish to purchase these laddus and distribute them for free can contact the Deputy Executive Officer on 9849575952 and Potu Peishkar on 9701092777.
