Woman complains of sexual harassment by delivery boy

In a shocking case, a woman from Bengaluru complained that the food delivery app- Swiggy's delivery boy has abused her and asked her for sexual favours. The horrifying incident took place on Thursday. 

On narrating her ordeal on social media (Facebook), the woman said that the delivery boy who turned up at her door with the food abused her and asked her for sexual favours.

According to Times of India (ToI), the woman said that when the delivery boy arrived at her residence, he was saying something which she could not understand. On asking him to repeat, the victim realised that the accused was abusing her and asking her for sexual favours.

On being shocked, the woman snatched the food from the delivery guy and shut the door on his face. In minutes, the terrified woman contacted the customer care and complained to them about the alleged incident.

Following that, the Swiggy authorities apologised for the incident on Facebook and in return, she was given a 'sorry' note and a Rs 200 coupon. They also assured action against the delivery guy.
