Its an Indian startup with the name Wakefit.co- this company produces mattresses. Wakefit.co is offering a ‘sleep internship’, where candidates get to nap for 9 hours a day for 100 days and the stipend for the job is Rs 1 lakh.
But getting the job the most difficult part, where the candidate has to convince the company about his or her love for sleep.
When media contacted Chaitanya Ramalingegowda, director and co-founder of Wakefit.co.- he said that they are looking to recruit the best sleepers in the country. Meanwhile, the company is also campaigning for the 'Right To Work Naps', that will encourage short siestas in office.
According to Times Now report, during the internship, the company will be keeping a check on the candidate's sleeping behaviour while they sleep on a mattress. Regards the stipend, it will be given to a candidate only after sleeping for 9 hours a day for 100 days.
